Lese gerade in einem Alpina Katalog fuer den E36 ueber einen Diff-kuehlerdeckel, der an diverse E36 passt: Alpina Hinterachsgetriebedeckel

Um die Oeltemperatur im Hinterachstgetriebe des BMW Alpina B8 4.6 im gruenen Bereich zu halten, wurde ein spezieller Hinterachsgetriebedeckel entwickelt, der ueber eine groessere Oberflaeche mit 19 Kuehlrippen verfuegt. Der Oelinhalt wurde auf 3.1 Liter erhoeht. Hierdurch wird eine Temperaturrreduzierung um bis zu 30 Grad C erreicht. Besonders empfehlenswert ist die Nachruestung ihres BMW dann, wenn Sie haeufig laengere Autobahnfahrten mit hohen Geschwindigkeiten absolvieren sowie bei Anhaengerbetrieb. Passt also leider nicht fuer meinen 02/1998 M3. Bis zu 30% Temperaturreduzierung ist natuerlich eine gute Sache.

Gibt es von anderen Anbietern in dieser Richtung etwas zu kaufen?

The benefit of this expanded capacity cover is to extend the life of the LSD clutch packs. These clutch packs will overheat when driven at the limit. Our cover helps reduce the temperature in a number of ways:

1.Increase fluid capacity from 1.5 quarts to 3 quarts.

2.Extended "fins" catch airflow to cool the cover itself, as it heats up from the increase in fluid temperature.

What happens when you use a stock differential at the track, even at a simple driver school? With a single 30 minute track session, a driver with average ability can increase the temperatures in a stock differential, causing the fluid to start seeping out of the vent hole. By doubling the capacity of the amount of differential fluid, as well as adding much needed cooling fins, the differential is allowed to function properly, within the factory specified temperature parameters. The cooling fins stick below the actual differential, allowing for additional cooling. For increased cooling surface area, the fins are connected at the bottom, similar to the factory E39 M5 and E46 M3 differential covers. The extended area of the differential cover extends 2.25" lower the stock cover.

How Effective Is the Cover? In a recent AER race, a team running an E36 logged data on their E36 during the 9 hour event. They reported back to us they found a 35 degree F drop in differential fluid temperatures. By reducing these temperatures, they are able to prevent their differential from a necessary rebuild from overheating.

was ist denn da der Unterschied zu vorher = vor 01/1996? Wenn ich beim ETK die VIN von meinem US M3 eingebe, EE13461, dann kommt da Austausch Hinterachsgetriebe mit Sperre BMW 33102228291, I = 44 : 13 = 3,38, Herstellung Jan 1996 - ,neue Teilnummer 33102228290, Einsatz M3 3.2 S52.

Und das ist ein anscheinend 188mm

Falls Du da noch was abdichten willst am Diff, es gibt einen Dichtungssatz fuer das 188 Diff, da ist alles drin zum abdichten der Abtriebswellen, der Eingangswelle und die Dichtung fuer den Deckel hinten, 7-teilig, laut ETK passen sie fuer alle 188 Diff, Automatik und Handschalter laut meiner Auflistung unten, Teilnummer 33101211823 passend fuer

E32: 730/735 mit M30B30, M30B35

E36: mit M50, M51, M52, S50, S52

E34: mit M43, M40, M20, M21, M50, M51, M60/B30, (nicht M60B40), M30B30, M30B35

Z1: M20 Handschalter
