That is not the original button/knob for the BE2450/2455, and has a cone shape, not straight as the original.
I have seen sellers on Ebay who sell the original knob.
I understand BMW doesn't sell these, as you need to open the facia.
Maybe Becker sells them separately? Could always try.

I never tried. It’s a different ‘system’, so I doubt it.

Ruft einfach Kormann und Schätzky an. Dann bekommt ihr den Original Knopf. Diese haben Harmann Becker beliefert.
Und kostet um die 16 Euro. Zwar nicht ganz billig,aber Original und ohne Theater.
Habe mein Knopf auch dort geordert,und dann mit dem Knopf zusammen zum Überholen geschickt.
Bekam das Gerät zurück mit einem Jahr Garantie!

We should wait for Thomson. Maybe he knows part number of that knob. 6 months ago I saw original knobs for sale on eBay.de, but I never thought one day I will be in need of two of them.

I do wonder how these knobs all get so worn. They all look like a rabbit chew on them, I don't get it.
On all my radio's, the knob is still perfect.
Having an MFL helps too, as you don't need to touch the know other than for radio on/off.

Sure, but still, that would not explain they look like they have been chewed on.
I bought a new CD43 in 2007 (there was a batch of them for sale on Ebay back then for €150) and the knob is still perfect.
Same on my BE2455.
But I guess not everyone is navigating their interior like you're walking in a minefield, like I do
